Three Days Grace June 11-12, 2022

Three Days Grace released their latest album Explosions on May 6, 2022.  Just the same as many bands regarding recording a new album, the dynamic shifted tremendously.  Each member had to work on their parts individually due to lockdowns resulting from COVID-19.  While using ZOOM technology to communicate, Howard Benson produced the album and assisted everyone on how to get the best from each other.

Three Days Grace released So Called Life as the lead-off track from Explosions.  The song went straight to number one on the LA Lloyd Rock 30.  As Matt Walst, vocalist explains, “Before the pandemic hit, we had the chorus all ready of So Called Life.  And then we wrote the verses after the pandemic hit.  So we were feeling kind of secluded.’ ‘Then the chorus hits and it’s kind of a party…everybody needs something to take the edge off.'”

The latest single from Three Days Grace is Lifetime.  The song was written before the tragic tornado that ripped through Mayfield, KY.  However, the band felt compelled to help the victims.  Barry Stock, guitarist lives approximately three hours from Mayfield.  When the band discussed where to shoot the video, Barry mentioned that photos from people who lived in Mayfield actually travelled and landed in his backyard.  So he convinced everyone to shoot the video in Mayfield to bring awareness of this event that disrupted many lives.  In addition, the band is donating one dollar from each ticket sold on their upcoming 2022 tour.
