April 4, 1999, LA Lloyd sat down with Chris Robinson, vocalist of The Black Crowes. Why is this important? Because The Black Crowes are back on the road for the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker which the band will perform in its entirety live. So how different is Chris’ thoughts about the music industry, touring and remaining relevant differ from 20 years ago? Spoiler alert, it hasn’t. It’s a great trip into the archives. Now to give this show a modern twist, Chris Payne who was a Promotion Man for Def American and American Recordings the record label for The Black Crowes headed up by Rick Rubin, will join LA Lloyd on the show for some behind the scenes stories on the infamous Robinson Brothers fights while on tour and the sex drugs and rock and roll that went along for the ride.
