On July 4, 2000, the LA Lloyd Rock 30 began and hasn’t stopped counting ’em down for 22 years. To celebrate this milestone, LA Lloyd wanted to include another big event; the release of Planet Zero, the new album from Shinedown coming out July 1.
If you watched the video above, you’ll see that Brent Smith from Shinedown will be co-hosting the LA Lloyd Rock 30 for a record-breaking 19 appearances. Through the years since the band released their first single, there has been a great relationship with all the members and LA Lloyd.
In the show, you will get the stories behind many of the songs on Planet Zero including their single Daylight, truly a song of hope and inspiration. As Brent explains, if you see someone down, take the time to offer a hand and help them up.
