Shinedown April 19-20, 2025
Shinedown breaks a new record as guest co-host on the LA Lloyd Rock 30. This will be their 22nd appearance, marking more times on the Rock 30 as guests over any other band or artist. LA Lloyd interviews Brent Smith and Zach Myers backstage at SXSW after one of their showcases at this global music event. 
Shinedown made the rounds at SXSW to play showcases for radio stations with different formats. As Zach Myers states, “We’re not going anywhere…we’re still a Rock band.” However, each album the band has released does not sound like any of the others and it is the band’s goal to reach a wider audience with the diversity of their songs. This goal is coming to fruition on their upcoming tour as they will be playing the biggest arenas in their career ranging from Madison Square Garden to the Kia Forum.
Recently, there has been a huge battle for the number one position on the Rock 30. Papa Roach, Disturbed, Seether and of course Shinedown have been in the top-5 for several weeks. Will this be the week Shinedown adds another number one song with their single Dance Kid Dance?
