LA Lloyd Rock 30 19th Anniversary July 6-7, 2019
Created on July 9, 2019
The LA Lloyd Rock 30 logos, the look and even the name of the show have changed since it began July 4, 2000. However, one thing has remained the same since the Rock 30 began 19 years ago and that is LA Lloyd has counted down the top-30 rock tracks with a new show every week. That’s 988 original shows with the biggest rock artists as co-hosts. We’ve gone through the archives and will be playing interview segments that go all the way back to 2000. Hear Shinedown’s Brent Smith from 2004 talk about the band’s first single Fly From The Inside, Halestorm talking about the release of their first major label album just days before it was released, interviews with four bands who all are still tied for 14 weeks at #1 including Nickelback, Staind, Disturbed and Seether. Before he became famous again in The Dirt, we flashback with Tommy Lee…even Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes an appearance. Plus our only Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Jared Leto stops by. Finally a touching moment includes Dimebag Darrell and his brother Vinnie Paul discussing the end of Pantera and the beginning of their band Damageplan. It’s a roller coaster of a ride through 19 years of some of Rock’s greatest memories. Thank you for taking the journey with LA Lloyd and the Rock 30 Countdown.
