A couple of years ago, someone played me a band covering Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space.” I think I had a blank space on my face when I first heard it. But eventually this song stuck with me and I gave them the benefit of the doubt for releasing their first song as a cover…Taylor Swift mind you.
After touring for 18 months supporting a 8-song EP and playing that single, again a cover mind you, it was time to write their own music and release a full-length album called “Lifelines.” Then I was immediately convinced, these guys were a force to deal with. The single “Alone” went top-5 and the title track is on its way.
LA Lloyd and Hales will interview I Prevail as guest co-hosts on the LA Lloyd Rock Countdown for their first appearance this weekend December 16-17, 2017.
