The first time that Avatar co-hosted the Rock 30 was 2016. They were the first act at River City Rock Fest in San Antonio. LA Lloyd was very curious to learn more about this Swedish band wearing Hawaiian shirts that hit the stage at 12:30 in the afternoon on a sweltering day in Texas.
Dance Devil Dance
Avatar released their album Dance Devil Dance February 17, 2023. The single, The Dirt I’m Buried In, could be their first number one song on the Rock 30. Johannes Eckerström will talk about how this song has been developed for over an decade but the wait was definitely worth it.
