When the holidays come, LA Lloyd is in the Christmas spirit.  Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert has become a family tradition for Lloyd and his family as well as many of his listeners.  As we approach Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Al Pitrelli, musical director who has been with this tour since day one will be our co-host on the Rock 30.  If you’ve ever wondered how this massive tour that plays 110 concerts in 66 cities in 48 days is possible, Al will give you a behind the scenes look.

The late Paul O’Neill was the mastermind behind the formation of Trans-Siberian Orchestra.  His goal was to always keep the show affordable and to give back to every local community that they played live.  According to Al Pitrelli, “We just passed our 20 millionth ticket sold and a dollar from every ticket we ever sold starting in 1999 at the first show and Paul said we are going to do this forever will go back to this as a community, you know, and a dollar doesn’t sound like a lot of money, brother, but if you do the math, you know, he did make a change and I’m very proud of him and very proud to continue on that legacy he created.
