Aaron Lewis, May 11-12, 2019

Aaron Lewis has been solo and hasn’t played a show with Staind in over five years.  However, they are booked to play the Louder Than Life festival on September 27.  The last time Aaron co-hosted the Rock 30 Countdown with LA Lloyd was May 2012 so they’ve got a lot of years to catch up on.  We will highlight Aaron’s solo career and his latest album State I’m In.  In addition, Aaron talks about his move to Nashville where he now resides and how the artists there as well as country radio stations nationally have received his songwriting.  Aaron will talk about how Kid Rock reacquainted him with the country music he grew up listening to and how he wrote his first country song “Country Boy” based on a bet with his plumber.  You’ll hear some of Aaron’s music including the one track that still ties the most weeks at number one (14 weeks) on the Rock 30 since it began July 4, 2000.
