Mind Control

Eric Bass is a force from Shinedown.  He is the bass player but also producer and songwriter for some of the band’s biggest songs.  With the creative skills Eric has, it was only a matter of time before he did his fist solo project.  Eric says, I wanted to create something different and I hope listeners hear that.  Lyrically and emotionally I hope it empowers them and they can see themselves in the characters and stories I sing about.”

I Had A Name

You way be curious if Eric Bass has created a concept album.  “MIND CONTROL  is part of a larger story than Eric is telling on this record. On this song we hear  the evil dictator, Devaren, articulating his disdain for the citizens he has imprisoned, while at the same time battling an inner conflict and a strange sense of remorse. In ‘MIND CONTROL’ That darkness and confusion has taken over. Will it ultimately be defeated?
