Fission
Dead Poet Society released their album Fission on January 26, 2024. Their vocalist Jack Underkofler last co-hosted the LA Lloyd Rock 30 just a few days before the release. Now that the album is out and fans have had a chance to hear all the songs, Jack gives us an update on how the fans have been reacting when they see the band perform them live.
Tattooed Ass
Recently at the Louder Than Life Festival, Dead Poet Society added a little twist to their live show. Jack decided to get a tattoo on his butt while performing live. An added bonus was when Josh Katz from Badflower stepped in and played guitar.
Hurt
Dead Poet Society has been on the Rock 30 chart with their latest single Hurt. The thing that intrigued LA Lloyd is how Jack is able to pull off this song live due to there are hardly any breaks in the song for him to take a breath. How does he do it? According to Jack, “That song is so hard to sing live. And basically all I can do is stay as perfectly still as possible so that all of the oxygen in my body when I do breathe can go straight to just keeping my brain alive so that I can keep singing.”
