This week’s Rock 30 Countdown with Cory Marks is a bit of a hybrid meaning a mix of Country and Rock.  It’s true that Rock Stars can wear cowboy boots.  Cory has been collaborating with everyone from Mick Mars to Travis Tritt on his music.  Last time Cory co-hosed the Rock 30 was in the middle of COVID April 28, 2020.

(Make My) Country Rock

Cory’s single on the Rock 30 is called (Make My) Country Rock.  It features guest vocals from Sully Erna of Godsmack.  Cory talks about the influence Godsmack had on him when he was younger.  While Cory was a hockey player, the team used Godsmack to get them fired up.  Mick Mars and Travis Tritt are featured in the video as well.
