SXSW (pronounced South By Southwest) is the world’s largest music showcase held annually in Austin in March. The event has been going on since 1987 where thousands of bands from all over the world play…some with the hopes of being discovered and some who are already established. Through the years, LA Lloyd has been covering this event and interviewing many of the performers at SXSW. This weekend, he will share some of those interviews as well as tell you what is happening for 2019. Guests featured on the Rock 30 include Metallica, Soundgarden, Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Serj Tankian (System Of A Down, Sharon Osborne, Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave), Chevelle, Cage The Elephant, Badflower, Butch Vig (Garbage and producer of Nirvana’s “Nevermind) and many more.
