Brann Dailor, drummer from Mastodon returned to co-host the LA Lloyd Rock Countdown for his fourth time. The band was currently touring Europe so we recorded the interview at the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, TX on October 14, 2017. LA Lloyd and Brann talked in-depth about Mastodon’s album “Emperor Of Sand” and played the current single “Steambreather” as well as an artist pick from Brann “Ancient Kingdom.” Other topics included if it is difficult pulling off vocals as a drummer, working with Brenden O’Brien their producer, and how Mastodon can write a “catchy” tune like “Show Yourself,” which was also played as a Rock Countdown extra.
