Myles Kennedy/Alter Bridge May 13-14, 2023
LA Lloyd considers Myles Kennedy the “hardest working man in rock n roll.” He literally fronts three different incarnations: Alter Bridge, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and his solo work. On his next appearance as co-host on the LA Lloyd he will predominantly focus on the new Alter Bridge album Pawns & Kings.
Interesting Times
There have been many great reviews about Pawns & Kings discussing the intensity of the music on the album. Myles’ simple answer is “These have been interesting times, and then that comes out in the music.” Myles and LA Lloyd talk about the recording of the album and how their surroundings of each member influenced the creativity.
Elvis
Michael Baskette, aka “Elvis” is one of the best producers in the business. He has worked with Alter Bridge, Slash, Myles Kennedy solo, Sevendust, Mammoth WVH, Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd and many more. According to Myles, not only is he a great producer but is one of his closest friends. Everyone in Alter Bridge agreed that Pawns & Kings should be raw and not over-produced. Elvis agreed and was immediately on board.
