Now that we have celebrated the 22nd anniversary of the LA Lloyd Rock 30, let’s bring on year #23! We always love to introduce you to new bands that we feel like are going to move up the Rock 30 chart very fast with potentially a number one song. That band is Eva Under Fire.
In 2015, Eva Under Fire got their beginning in the Detroit underground. Eva Marie, vocalist, co-hosts the Rock 30 for her first time to talk about the band’s journey leading us to the present with their big hit Blow.
What may seem as a long shot on getting a record deal, Eva stated “We had brand new music we were emailing to complete strangers trying to introduce ourselves. The idea was to get our name out there. Then one of those strangers put us on a plane and offered us a record deal.” She was referring to being on the Better Noise Music roster with the likes of Five Finger Death Punch, Asking Alexandria, Nothing More and others. She’ll explain her great journey as she co-hosts via ZOOM.
