Disturbed just wrapped one of their most successful tours ever with Falling In Reverse and Plush. LA Lloyd hung out with their guitarist Dan Donegan backstage before the show to bring you the Rock 30. Dan was treated to some authentic Chicago Italian Beef served up by Bill Nychay, friend of Dan and LA Lloyd and owner of Wise Guys, A Chicago Eatery based in Round Rock Texas
Ann Wilson
Disturbed hit NUMBER ONE on the Rock 30 with their song Don’t Tell Me. It is a duet done with Ann Wilson of Heart. This is the first time an outside artist has been been featured on one of their tracks. Dan will share the story of how Ann accepted the invitation to sing on this one and the experience of recording with her in the studio.
Moriah Formica
Obviously Ann Wilson could not be on tour to sing the duet with Disturbed each night. But there was an alternative that worked out perfectly. Moriah Formica is the vocalist from Plush and was on the road with Disturbed. Many have compared Moriah to Ann Wilson. Check out this video from one of the performances in Oklahoma City.
