Sam Carter, vocalist for Architects, joins LA Lloyd on the road in Las Vegas. Just before Architects released their latest album The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit, they had a huge listening party in Vegas with LA Lloyd and a lot of radio personalities at a bowling alley. Sam has a lot to tell the fans. Top of the list is their latest single Tear Gas.
On August 20 2016, founding guitarist and songwriter Tom Searle died at the age of 28, after living for three years with melanoma skin cancer. The loss of their bandmate took a toll on the band. However, Sam tells LA Lloyd how it was therapeutic for him to share stories about Tom while performing on stage each night. The band collectively felt the need to “enjoy the moment” while recording The Classic Symptoms of a Broken Spirit as they felt it was Tom’s wishes.
