William DuVall has now recorded the same amount of albums with Alice In Chains as did previous vocalist Layne Staley. Needless to say William has had his share of pessimists along the way but has held his own very well. Alice In Chains returned to the city where it all started to record their latest album Rainier Fog. William actually got to experience Seattle for the longest duration in his life while working on the album. He got a feel for the city and the people that make up this Pacific Northwest area. What were some of the influences while creating the new album? William discusses the history of the studios, channeling Chris Cornell and other memories that have been made at the studios.
