After an amazing 30 year career, Kevin Martin is closing the final chapter for Candlebox.  He has dedicated his future years to being with his family and special solo music.  In addition, Kevin’s biggest desire is to give back to communities with donations raised through music and awareness.  One of which is the Riptide Society.  Their mission is to help young adults and at-risk youth through hands-on mentorship opportunities and events by partnering with outreach organizations, professionals and service providers. Working together, we identify and implement ways to lift individuals out of the unique riptide they are caught in, and settle them onto a new, safe and healthy wave where they can thrive. We focus on the long term effects of our recipients by providing options and a tangible way to create a lasting change in their own stories by creating a positive wind in their sails.

Riptide Acoustic Benefit

Candlebox and Three Doors Down did two acoustic benefit concerts for Riptide Society; December 1 at Haute Spot in Cedar Park, TX and December 2 at Lava Cantina in Dallas where they were joined by Brent and Zach from Shinedown.  LA Lloyd was the host along for the December 1 show as seen below with Kevin.
