10 Years Shiprocked
10 Years were one of the featured bands on the 2022 Shiprocked cruise. LA Lloyd interviewed their vocalist Jesse Hasek on that ship in the open sea. It was a time still immersed in the COVID pandemic. Two years later, their guitarist Brian Vodinh will be the guest co-host on the Rock 30. They have just released an EP called Inner Darkness that came out October 11, 2024.
The Optimist
The Optimist is the current single on the Rock 30 which is actually a re-release. It features Kia Taylor from Conquer Divide. This is the first time that 10 Years has featured a guest vocalist on one of their songs.
Staying Optimistic
LA Lloyd asked Brian Vodinh what he does to stay optimistic in these uncertain times we live. He said, “It’s tough, it’s a struggle because the world is crazy. We live in just an absolutely crazy time right now too. And I think for us, it’s like, there’s a few things. There’s one, getting up on stage every night and seeing fans still care, there’s that. But then there’s also just being at home and being with my wife and my kids and my dogs. And when the dogs pile on me, I go, everything is okay.”
